Dubai Fountain reawakens with spectacular new features
DUBAI – Dubai Fountain officially reopens today, October 1, after being closed for five months for major redevelopment.
Emaar drained the entire Burj Khalifa Lake to carry out resurfacing, tiling, water insulation, and painting, ensuring the fountain’s durability and safety.
Phase one of the revamp is now complete, while phase two, set for 2026, will introduce cutting-edge features such as advanced robotics, enhanced lighting, and improved sound systems.
The fountain’s reopening begins with a show at 6:30pm, followed by regular timings including afternoon and evening performances.
During the closure, Emaar installed 500 metres of digital screens along the promenade to keep the area lively.
